Salescaster® Goal & Actual LED Production Counters provide a clear, real-time comparison between production targets and actual output. Manufacturing teams can monitor progress using a fixed production goal or a goal that advances automatically when paired with a TAKT pace timer. These displays help operators and supervisors quickly identify when production is ahead of or behind schedule.
Salescaster® production counters keep a count of materials or products and provide a visible display for employees and supervisors. Options range from simple number counters to more sophisticated data-tracking systems. Add a static goal or a changeable TAKT timer to compare production progress with your goals.

Understanding Fixed and Automatically Advancing Production Goals
Fixed Production Goal
A fixed goal displays a predetermined production target alongside the actual number of units produced. Operators and supervisors can compare actual output against the target throughout the production period.
Automatically Advancing Production Goal
When configured with a TAKT pace timer, the goal count automatically advances as each programmed time interval expires. This provides a continuously updated production target, allowing employees to compare actual output against the required production pace.
Which Configuration Is Right for Your Operation?
A fixed goal is suitable for monitoring progress toward a predetermined production target. An automatically advancing goal is useful when production must maintain a specific pace throughout a shift.
Salescaster® can help determine the appropriate configuration for your application.

Photoelectric IR Sensors
Photoelectric IR sensors provide automatic counting by detecting products or materials as they pass a sensing point. Depending on the application, through-beam, retro-reflective, or diffuse-reflective sensors can be used to send counting signals to compatible Salescaster® Goal & Actual Production Counters.
Proximity Sensors
Proximity sensors detect objects without physical contact and can automatically update production counts. Inductive sensors detect metal objects, while capacitive sensors can detect certain nonmetallic materials. Sensor selection depends on the material, sensing distance, operating environment, and compatibility with the production counter.
Goal & Actual Production Counter FAQs
How is the actual production count updated?
Depending on the selected configuration, counts can be updated using a switch box or relay closure. Photoelectric or proximity sensors may be used for automated counting.
Can the display show a goal alongside actual output?
Yes. Available configurations can display the actual count with a static goal or a changeable goal associated with a TAKT pace timer.
What digit sizes and counting formats are available?
The listed options include two-digit or four-digit counting and 4″-high red LED digits, with 2.5″ and 7″ digit sizes also available. Confirm the appropriate configuration for your application.
